I am Mike Dickson [SP], and I came to Dr. Mortensen for a full mouth reconstruction because of an overbite issue I had. It became so severe that any temperature variation really created an issue with me being able to eat properly. So, the prior dentist I had was a little unsympathetic with my fear of dentistry and other issues that I had. I figured I would come by and talk to him and see what he had to say, what he could do for me. My first impressions were of how nice the whole staff was and how relaxed the general atmosphere here was compared to what I was dealing with. Relaxed me right off the bat with my apprehensions I had on dentistry. My anxiety on dentistry in general was so severe that I would lose sleep days prior to just a simple cleaning and a checkup. That was not a comfortable situation for me at all. I knew there was something better out there as opposed to where I was, so that was the initial factors that brought me to Dr. Mortenson. What I liked about Dr. Mortensen was his professionalism, and he told me everything he could do for me, what he couldn't do for me, and just totally professional. His sedation process consists of a couple of pills that you are requested to take an hour and a half or so, before you get here on your first procedures. And to me that was great, I literally could not remember anything. I woke up in the afternoon from a semi-conscious state, and I never remembered anything. My wife said I did good. She said everybody at the staff here did wonderful. She stayed with me the whole time and it was just a totally different experience than anything I had ever had in the past. My satisfaction of the job done, the procedures that had taken place, I am so totally satisfied, being able to eat regular. I have had no issues what so ever. I can eat whatever I want to eat and no problems what so ever. Anytime that I've ever had an opportunity to recommend, "Here's his number give him a call. You won't be unhappy at all."
